Dream LOOP is a short psychological horror experience developed during the GMTK Game Jam 2025, based on the theme: "Loop".

You begin in your bedroom, during a stormy night. As you drift into sleep, you’re pulled into a looping nightmare where each cycle forces you to face a different phobia.
If you die, you wake up and the loop starts again.

🌀 Gameplay Loop

• Enter the dream.
• Face a phobia in its most disturbing form (Hard Mode).
• If you survive, you'll relive it in a peaceful dreamlike state (Easy Mode).
• Die, and it's back to square one.

No checkpoints. No forgiveness. But maybe… a way out.

😱 Phobias Featured

• Acrophobia (Fear of Heights): Leap across unstable platforms on top of a skyscraper, battling dizzying winds and disorienting visuals.
• Claustrophobia (Fear of Tight Spaces): Escape a shrinking labyrinth before the walls close in. Shadows flicker… something watches you.
• Thalassophobia (Fear of Deep Water): Swim through an endless abyss, fighting the pressure of the depths while a colossal sea creature lurks beneath. Progress requires precise rhythmic key inputs, and disorienting blinks may twist your perception.

More phobias may be added post-jam if time allows.

• Realistic graphics and visual effects
• No HUD — feel your fear through audio cues and visual distortions
• Transitions between hard and easy states are both visual and auditory
• Designed to be completed in a single session (~10–15 minutes)
